I think that you two will always have a place in eachothers heart but you cant have a relationship that has broken trust... being best friends and treating each other like it may be a better way for your future happiness to have a chance, just accept that this is a love that will grow of frienship rather than being a shipwreck.. i may not be qualified to answer but after 3 failed marriages my last husband is still my bestfriend and we hang out every day and tell each other that our love is true, its just better to keep it real
