If you travelled during the swine flu pandemic, how did you feel?

It did make me more aware of hygiene and I constantly washed my hands and backed away from anyone sneezing but I think I did anyway wherever I was. I was going on a trip to Mexico from Texas and it had to be cancelled because it was supposedly the hub of swine flu so that was a bit of a shame. But travel holds many risks and it didn't worry me unduly. What happened to swine flu anyway?
