How will "cutting spending" decrease the amount of debt...? I.E. how can we repay our own debt with our finan?

Most economists now agree it is now impossible to pay off the US debt. The US owes to much money to foreign countries. The only answer and probable future of the US is bankruptcy. Unless deep cuts are made of course. But as polls have shown, US citizens don't support the cutting of spending on SS, Medicare, or Medicaid. These three programs will consume all government revenue in 2035.
