What amplifier should I get?

I like to play clic rock, hard rock, progressive, alternative, grunge, blues, jazz, funk and metal. A few of my favorite bands are Pink floyd, Led zeppelin, U2, Rush, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Oasis, Coldplay, The Beatles, Audioslave etc. Which amp would be best? I'm thinking about getting either a Vox AC50CP2 or a Marshall tube amp. My problem with this is that I like the clean sound of the Vox amp over the Marshall amp, but I like the distortion of the marshall amp over the vox amp.
