I recently used monistat and the cream hasnt come out yet. Is it okay or should i somehow try to clean myself ?

So I used monistat for one day and had to fill my with this cream. This was shortly after my period and two days later I am still wearing a pad because of leakage. And everything coming out seems pink and thick which I am uming is the cream and the pink from blood. Should I try to clean myself out? When will it all disappear? Or is this normal? And the why I am still bleeding?
