What was the role of the Carlists?
I know Carlists were Traditionalists or extremely right-wing in their thinking. They wanted to keep regional identities throughout Spain so were they against Franco who was for a unified Spain? Also, they believed the Spanish monarchy was corrupt because of the 1830 incident with Ferdinand VII?
